Congratulations! =)
I think that the goose and ear look promising, looking forward to see it finished.
Thanks Roger for your much appreciated comment.
The goose/ear/bell/block/drape/fabric warm/cool still life has been challenging. I hope to finish it before the Summer Session Painting 1 class ends in a few weeks. Right now it remains an academic exercise.
Returning to the basics has been very exciting. Just this past week, I spent 15 hours of additional work on the painting.
Always great, though expected, news.
Bravo Bernard and well deserved. I know how hard you worked on your carvings. The goose was one of my favorites, so no surprise. Congratulations.
Deb,
Thanks for your continuing support.
Bernard
Victoria,
Thank you very much!
Bernard
Congratulations on the cash prize! Sweet! Your goose has a nice craftsmen era look about it.
Thanks r! I am still amazed that cutting and inking a piece of linoleum could result in such a pleasent artistic surprise.
I look forward to seeing more on your coffee dot theme. Just thinking about your recent paintings makes my mouth water for a crumb covered donut and a carmel latte.
Our boys have been making linocuts with my husband. They have such fun. I look forward to showing this photo of yours to them. And, congratulations on the award!
Thanks, Liz.
